Albany Symphony’s Water Music NY: More Voices Festival Comes to Utica – July 3, 2025
The Albany Symphony is proud to present Water Music NY: More Voices, a dynamic, multi-year festival series commemorating the bicentennial of the Erie Canal. In partnership with the New York State Canal Corporation, this free, full-day event will take place at the newly developed Harbor Point in Utica on July 3, 2025.
One of five full-day celebrations across canal-side communities, the More Voices Festival is part of a three-year creative placemaking initiative blending music, visual art, storytelling, and local culture. Each festival culminates in a powerful Albany Symphony concert, highlighting new works by contemporary composers alongside collaborations with local artists, educators, and community members.
Rooted in artistic innovation and cultural reflection, Water Music NY: More Voices reimagines the past, present, and future of life along New York’s historic waterways—offering an inclusive and inspiring experience for all.
Join us for a day of music, community, and celebration on July 3, 2025 in Utica. Admission is free and open to the public.
