Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri will be conducting his first quality of Quality of Life Sweep of 2021 today, Wednesday, April 7th

The sweep will begin at noon at the intersection of Genesee and Hopper Streets and proceed east on Hopper and then south on Park Avenue.

Since he took office in 2012, Mayor Palmieri and his department heads have conducted 277 Quality of Life Sweeps and covered nearly 950 miles throughout the city.

The Quality of Life Sweeps occur every Wednesday in the months of April through December (weather permitting). The mission of the Sweeps has been consistent; to address quality of life issues throughout Utica and to keep neighborhoods clean and safe.  All public health guidelines will be followed.
