MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES OVER $370,000 GENERATED FROM
CITY OF UTICA’S REAL PROPERTY AUCTION

Mayor Robert Palmieri today announced the City’s property auction, held on September 30th, generated $373,500.

Eight properties were sold to the highest bidders, six of which were residential (one condo) with two lots.

Mayor Palmieri stated, “I am pleased with the results from last night’s auction, and I commend my staff for coordinating A successful auction.

The Mayor continued, “Selling city owned land to private investors is advantageous for the city, both in the short and long term, as it reduces the cost to taxpayers and expands the city’s tax base.”
