MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF UTICA 311 MOBILE APP

Mayor Robert Palmieri today announced the official launch of UTICA 311.

UTICA 311 is a free Mobile App available for Android and iOS devices which will serve as a convenient way for residents and businesses to report issues to the correct City departments using smartphones and mobile devices.

This initiative is consistent with the City’s overall mission to further connect Utica residents and businesses with City government.

All reported issues will be automatically routed to the correct department so residents don’t have to guess what department to contact to report an issue.

Other features of UTICA 311 include the ability to add photos quickly and easily, and provide City crews GPS coordinates to help identify the correct location of the reported issue.

In addition, the App will keep the resident up to date on the status of their reported issue, as well as, provide connection to important City websites such as the links to the Directory, on-line tax payment and property information.

Mayor Palmieri stated, “Making City government more accessible and responsive to the people has been a mission of my Administration and the launch of the UTICA 311 app helps us to further achieve this goal.”
