September 30, 2008- (Utica, NY) – Utica Mayor David Roefaro has announced that the month of October will be all about the citizens of Utica. In what the Mayor is calling a, 'Dine Around'- every section of the city will have their chance to have lunch with Mayor Roefaro.
The Mayor has dedicated four Friday's in October (covering North, South, East, and West Utica) to this event. His schedule is as follows:
October 10th: Mayor Roefaro will be having lunch at Café Bella Mia in North Utica at 12:30
October 17th: Mayor Roefaro will be having lunch at The Balkan in South Utica at 12:30, joining him will be Congressman Michael Arcuri.
October 24th: RESCHEDULED for November due to Mayor's Breast Cancer Luncheon.
October 31st: Mayor Roefaro will be having lunch at Tiny's Grill in West Utica at 12:30
Mayor Roefaro says that, "The Dine Around is an opportunity to visit some of the finest restaurants throughout the City of Utica. It's also an opportunity for me to meet with people in their neighborhood restaurants. Mayor Roefaro added, "There's also a two pronged approach to this month's 'Dine Around'. It's going to create some additional business for these fine restaurants. It's as much about the constituents as it is supporting our local restaurants."
During these lunches, the Mayor will be joined by varying department heads of the city.
